If the 11th lord is swagrahi in the 11th house, use its colour, grain, gem and metal as much as possible. The same logic applies to other lords: a lagna lord sitting in the 12th house (foreign lands) suggests success abroad.
Interior colours are selected in three ways: from the kundali (the planets ruling education, business, wealth and luck), from the element of the zone (its own colour or a friendly element colour), and from the work done in the space.
