Principle

Chandra Nadi Land for Homes, Surya Nadi Land for Business

The swar a land brings on decides its best use: land that activates the Chandra (left) nadi suits homes, temples, schools and finance work, while land that activates the Surya (right) nadi suits business and industry. Land on which both nadis run is the worst of all.

What it does

To match a land to its best use from the swar it brings on.

Cautions

  • Never buy a land on which both nadis run (sushumna), even if it is offered free with the registry paid; it is hungry, life-threatening land and no home should ever be built on it
  • Air and fire elements running in both nadis on a land ruin business

Explanation and notes

Chandra nadi land is the best for residence and temples, and excellent for schools, colleges, libraries, education, banking, accounts, finance, offices, consultancy and any mental work done without goods. Doing business on Chandra nadi land brings money and keeps business running, but only at a moderate level. Surya nadi is the agni (fire) nadi, and business needs heat; without it the workers grow lazy and output falls. A Surya nadi land can lead to setting up four or more factories, yet living on it, even at 16 or 12 angul, gives only moderate results.

Principle

Land Energy Carries 70 Percent Weight in Land Selection

When selecting a plot, flat or industrial land, the energy of the land itself decides about 70 percent of the result, more than slope, shape or surrounding structures. A building made fully as per directional vastu can still fail on land with bad energy.

Dehleez Test: Breath and Body Signs When Setting Out to See a Plot

The threshold (dehleez) of the home acts as a testing machine: the moment you step over it to go and see a plot, flat or factory, your breath and body signal whether that property is good. Equal flow in both nostrils or left-side body signs warn against it; earth or water element in the breath and right-side signs approve it.

Predictionशकुन शास्त्र

Inauspicious Omens on the Way to See a Plot or Flat

Shakun shastra (nimitta gyan) reads the signs met on the way to a property; certain sights and events on the journey warn that the plot or flat is not good. They arise because the land's energy is already acting on the visitor's body chemistry.

Testingशल्य

Locating Buried Shalya from Bird Droppings, Injury and Itching

Where a bird's droppings fall on the visitor's body or clothes, where the visitor gets hurt, or where itching starts on the way to or while walking a land points to the matching part of the Vastu Purush where a defect or buried bone (shalya) lies.

Prediction

Dog, Jackal and Crow Omens at the Plot

The behaviour of street dogs, jackals and crows at a plot or flat reveals its quality: a crow cawing while facing East or North is a good sign, while crying dogs and a crow on a dry tree are grave warnings.

Prediction

Sights and Sounds on First Entering a Land or Flat

What one first sees and hears on stepping onto a land or into a flat indicates its energy: black items, broken things, snake holes and harsh sounds are bad signs, while a conch, aarti or auspicious songs, a rainbow or a joyful sky are good ones.
