Principle

Toilet Interior: Glazed Tiles, Ventilation, Grey-White Colour, No Mirror

A toilet should be lined with glazed ceramic tiles, well ventilated, kept in white or grey, and should have no mirror facing the seat.

What it does

Contains moisture, bacteria and negative energy so that even a wrongly placed toilet does less harm.

Where

Every toilet and bathroom

Samagri used

  • Glazed ceramic tiles for floor and walls
  • White or grey tiles or paint

See every other use of:

How to do it

  1. 1Lay glazed ceramic tiles on the floor and on the walls from bottom to top, usually 6 to 8 feet high
  2. 2Keep the toilet height modest; an 11-foot height is unnecessary
  3. 3Provide proper ventilation with a window or exhaust
  4. 4Use white or grey, or the zone colour if preferred
  5. 5Fix any mirror so that the face is not visible from the seat

Cautions

  • A toilet without ventilation is not fit to use and leads to constipation and other stomach diseases
  • Do not fix a mirror directly in front of the toilet seat: it reflects the toilet's bacteria and energy into every room
  • Decorate as beautifully as you like, but ventilation comes first

Explanation and notes

Glazed tiles stop moisture and bacteria from spreading beyond the toilet, so a toilet in the wrong place loses much of its dosh; this is why old toilets were fully lined with white glazed tiles. The toilet represents Shani and Rahu, so grey and white work in any zone, as the planet is given more importance than the zone colour here.

Principle

Toilet Effects in Each of the 16 Zones

Zone-by-zone results of a toilet: SSW and WNW are workable, NW and ESE only in an emergency, and every other zone damages what that zone governs.
