Whose Kundli to Use: Owner for Facing, Each Member for Their Own Room

The house facing, main door and common areas are chosen from the grih swami's (owner's) kundli, while each member's bedroom and study are planned from that member's own kundli.

What it does

Lets one house suit every member even when their planets differ.

Where

House facing, main door, drawing room, kitchen, bedrooms and study rooms

How to do it

  1. 1Take the kundli of the grih swami, the person whose money is building the house
  2. 2Choose the facing and main door from it, e.g. North when Mercury or the North-side planets are strong
  3. 3Plan the common areas such as the drawing room and kitchen from the grih swami's kundli
  4. 4Plan each member's bedroom and study from that member's own kundli
  5. 5Where a member's planet for a direction is weak, place them 180 degrees opposite, e.g. a child with a weak Mercury studies in the South, not the North

Cautions

  • Do not decide from the name the property is registered in, such as a daughter, when the money is someone else's

Explanation and notes

A house influences the grih swami and his next three generations. Members of one family usually have nearly similar planetary placements; that symmetry is why they are born into the same family. In your own bedroom use the materials of your exalted planet and avoid those of your debilitated one.

Avoid Fly Ash Bricks: Ash Is Treated as Shalya

Bricks made from thermal plant fly ash mixed with sand and adhesive materials are wrong according to Vedic vastu, which likens ash (raakh) to shalya (an impurity such as bones buried in land).
