Some dowse for water with a coconut, some with a stone or guava wood; which is right?

Any of them, because the dowser is the person; the tool is only a bridge, a medium in which the current produces movement. Some people dowse with bare hands, and some sway or tremble where water is. Only a person whose body reacts to the energy can check it; people who live in a negative place get used to it, like a worm content in a drain.

In small houses three corners are closed by walls anyway. Does that count as covering the corners?

No. Walls enclosing a house are normal; covering means burying a corner under a huge mass, such as a boulder fill 35 to 40 ft long or a thousand bricks stacked permanently in one corner. Energy moves through all four corners, so keep them free of such heavy masses whatever the direction.

Why has not a single stone of the Khajuraho temples moved in over a thousand years?

No cement or adhesive was used: male stones were joined into female stones, an example of the physical property of materials. The temples were also oriented so that the sun's rays fall first at the deity's feet and, as the sun reaches the South-East, at another deity's feet.

How long do the sun's rays take to reach the earth, and which materials capture the most of the planetary energy they bring?

The sun's rays take about 8 minutes 20 seconds to reach the earth, and only about 55% of their energy arrives; the other 45% is lost on the way. Of what arrives, trees and plants capture about 95%, mirrors 80%, yantras 60 to 90%, pyramids 65% (which is why fruit kept under a pyramid stays fresh), water 60% (mainly the Moon's energy), metals 45% and stones 35%. Plastic and other petroleum by-products capture none, so interiors should rely on natural materials and on indoor and outdoor plants chosen for the planet of each direction.

How are male and female bricks identified, and why does it matter?

When struck, one brick gives a khan sound and the other a jhan sound: one is male and the other female, like plus and minus. Bricks and stones laid by joining male with female hold each other and never let go, which is why buildings 2,000 years old still stand as they are.

Why should the burner always rest on stone, whatever the platform is made of?

Fire lives with stone: deep below the earth's crust, in the mantle, the rocks are molten like fire. So wherever a platform is made, the part where the burner sits must be stone; laminate and wooden platforms are not good and stainless steel is only partly acceptable.

Why does the colour of the kitchen platform matter so much?

Eye contact is greatest with the platform, since rolling, chopping and all cooking work happen on it, so its colour works on the eyes and mind. In a wrongly placed kitchen the right platform colour alone can correct about 25% of the dosh: ivory for South, South-East, South-South-East and West-South-West kitchens; light red lakha granite for South-East and South-South-East, used sparingly because red stone comes only as granite, which develops pin holes; yellow for South-West and West; and green for South-East, South-South-East, South, North-East and North.

Should black stone be used for the kitchen platform?

No. Black represents the water and space elements, and looking at black continuously weakens the eyesight. Tiny insects, bacteria and ants cannot be seen on black stone, so they get mixed into the food.

Won't a red platform in the South-East or South-South-East increase the fire element too much?

That is why perfect red is not used, only a light red such as lakha granite. Fire can be kept burning 24 hours in the South-East, so a red platform is acceptable there: the zone tolerates any amount of fire because the sun's rays in the South-East are not intense after 9 am, whereas hot winds (loo) come from the South.

Can black granite steps be used for stairs in the North-West?

Use kota stone for steps in the North-West. Granite is best avoided in general, since it develops pin holes in which negativity settles.

Can red kota stone be used for stairs in the South-South-West?

It is better not to use red kota stone for stairs in the South-South-West. For South-South-West and South-West stairs use yellow stone or Dholpur stone, which balances that zone and multiplies its energy.

I used quartz but got no results. Why?

Only crystallised quartz in hexagonal, four-axis form gives full results. Ordinary quartz gives only 10 to 20 percent results, though never a negative one: sand also contains quartz of the same chemistry, but in amorphous form, just as buttermilk and ghee both come from milk but differ greatly in value.

Can pyrite be kept in the office?

Yes, there is no problem. Citrine and quartz work for attraction, while pyrite works for stability.

Should the stones be kept only in raw shape?

Raw shape also works; no particular form is needed. A statue carved from the stone, such as a Saraswati in citrine, lapis lazuli or any quartz, works double.

If the study table is in the West, can a red stone like jasper be kept on it?

Yes. A colour counts as an anti-element only when the whole room is done in it; an item of about 10 percent of the volume causes no dosh. Children do not stop using red or blue books, and women in red bangles or sarees still go into the North.

Can all four study minerals be kept together?
Where can these stones be bought?

They are available online all over the world; buy them and check their purity. Addresses can be shared in the group on request.

Do these stones need to be cleansed?

Yes. They are first cleaned with sea salt, then charged, energised with a mantra and given a command for their purpose.

My main door is in the South; how should it be treated?

In interior vastu a wrong door is treated only with symbols and similar items, since the full door treatment alone would take about five classes. For South door defects the class gives bandhanwars of stone or gems, a toran of copper and wood, and a red triangular swastik bandhanwar hung on a Saturday or Tuesday. In the South only S4 is a good pada, and it suits those with Kark, Makar or Kanya rashi, mulank 9, or an exalted or own-sign Mars.

Temple door frames are of stone, and stone chaukhats are now common in homes. Should a home use stone or wood?

It depends on the nature the occupants need. Those who must keep firmness, such as kings and military people, use stone, while wood always represents softness, so those who want a gentle nature use wood. The door and its frame shape the nature of the people: if you need to become tough, make the dehleez of hard stone.

My flat has no dehleez, only the door and its frame. What can I do?

Take a shubh muhurta for dehleez installation (the teacher posts dehleez muhurtas every month) and have a dehleez made. It should still be of wood; make it of stone if you want to become firm and of wood for a softer nature, choosing the type of wood by the qualities you want.

Can Kota stone tiles be used?

Yes, Kota stone is among the best floors and produces very good energy. It is a fine-grained sedimentary rock that stays cool.

Does green flooring cause accidents for the residents?

No. At one time Kota stone was the floor in almost every home, and in hundreds of such homes no accident has been linked to it. The belief spreads when one case happens and someone blames the colour.

How is yellow Jaisalmer stone flooring?
Is granite or marble good for windows?

Granite can be used for windows, but it must never be used for the main door.
