What to Build at Shikhi (E1): Rooms Allowed, No Door, Kitchen or Toilet

Drawing room, office, puja room, conference room, underground water tank, borewell and a bedroom for elders suit the Shikhi pad. A main door, kitchen or toilet here harms the residents.

Cautions

  • No main door: fire incidents and accidents; only a boundary wall gate is allowed
  • No kitchen: poor health, memory loss, money problems, anger and inability to decide
  • No toilet: vansh vriddhi (growth of the family line) does not happen

Explanation and notes

Drawing room: the family plans its policies here, and this devta lives by justice and principle. Puja room: worship of Shiva, Adi Brahma or Adinath raises the energy. Underground tank: water cools the heat of the yogi's sadhana, as Kailash began to melt from the heat of Shiva's tapas, and Shikhi energy stored in water keeps removing about half of the house's vastu doshas and spreads energy everywhere. Conference room: convincing others with ideas and vision and setting targets. Bedroom for elders: paint it white, not red, because red adds heat to this sensitive devta and opens its third eye. Gates of temples, schools and colleges can be at Shikhi, since Shikhi is a yogi and guru (Jupiter) and these buildings are its own home.

Principleवास्तु पुरुष

Origin of Vastu Purush and the 45 Devtas, and Why They Matter

During Shiva's battle with Andhakasura a drop of his sweat produced a starving mahabhoot; devas and asuras laid him face down and 45 devtas sat on him, creating 45 places with separate functions on every plot. Brahma made him his manas putra and promised that whoever occupies land would remember and feed him.
