Questions and answers

Fire is the enemy of water. What can be done if the water source of a house lies in the South?

Remedies for such anti-element placements are taught later, in the remedy classes. First learn each element, its zone, its friends and its enemies; the corrections for a water source in the wrong zone come when the course reaches remedial vastu.

Do these boring and underground tank rules apply to farms too?
How is a boring in the North, NNE and North-East?

Borings in the North, NNE, NE and ENE are very good, and the North-East is the best. Never bore exactly on the North-East diagonal corner, the seat of Shikhi devta.

A South boring was abandoned and a new one dug in the right place. How should the old pit be closed permanently?

Put five haldi, five supari, panch ratna and a silver swastik into it, then fill it completely with sand.

What if there is a well inside the house?

A well inside the house gives good results when it is in the right direction and bad results when it is in a wrong direction.

We live in a housing society and do not know where the boring or septic tank is. Will it still affect us?

Yes. Not knowing makes no difference: the sun gives its rays whether or not someone believes in it, and a person who knows nothing of vastu still gets its doshas. A wrongly placed tank, boring, septic tank or sewer line affects the residents whether they know about it or not.

How should an old well be closed?

A well older than 25 years is a seat of Varun devta and must not simply be filled in. Do the vastu registry with a coconut, asking the deities of the well to enter it, do three pradakshina, and after a few hours leave the coconut in another well in daily use. Lower a kalash marked with a swastik and filled with haldi and other items, add soil or sand of five rivers (or sea sand), and fill the well with good soil.

Why do an underground water tank, drawing room, puja room and conference room suit Shikhi (E1)?

When Adi Prabhu (Shiva) did sadhana on Kailash, the friction produced heat that began to melt the mountain, so water matters most for cooling this place; Shikhi's energy stored with water also spreads through the house and keeps removing about 50% of its vastu doshas. In the drawing room the family sits as if in sadhana and makes its plans and policies, and in a conference room others are convinced with one's ideas and vision and given targets. Worship of Adi Prabhu (Shiva) in a puja room here raises the energy further; an office and a borewell also suit this pad.
