South-West (Nairitya): Rahu-Ketu, Prosperity, and Keeping It Highest

The South-West is ruled by Nairitya, with Rahu-Ketu as its planets and gomed (hessonite) as its stone. Balanced, uncut and right-angled, it gives prosperity, stability and skill, and it must be the highest part of the property in both ground level and building height, which is why a dhwaj (flag) is raised there.

Can yellow mustard and gomti chakra be put at a South-West main boundary gate?

Yes, it will benefit. These two items are not limited to any direction and can be used anywhere. Put the yellow mustard in properly dug pits, because if it meets moisture and sprouts it does no good. The specific South-West gate remedy is taught separately.

A consultant had 2.5 kg of yellow mustard kept under a bed in the South-West; a year later dowsing showed strong negativity and there were daily quarrels. Can yellow mustard create negativity?

Yellow mustard that was washed, energised and commanded cannot give negativity. Mustard simply bought from the market and placed without purification and command does not work, even a ton of it in a shop, and it may bring negativity from wherever it came. Incomplete knowledge is very dangerous.

In a house with a cut South-West, the plinth beam also follows the cut. Is it counted as cut?

Yes. If the beam and the foundation are cut, the plot is considered cut. What a cut is will be explained further with a model.

If a house faces South or West, must its slope also be toward the South-West, as in many houses?

There are two types of slope, which will be covered again. If water flows underground toward the South, it is not a big defect: electricity and water move underground everywhere without regard to direction, so an underground flow against the ideal direction does not create a dosh. People living where underground water flows to the South and West are also found to be happy.

The lower body relates to the earth element. Can an entrance in the South or South-West cause related health problems?

Yes, it definitely does. Doors and their effects are taught in detail in the door classes.

In a house with uneven levels, how can we tell whether the South-West is low-lying?

Check with a water level (spirit level) or a contour map, or simply pour a bucket of water on the floor: the direction in which it flows is the direction of the slope.

Why is sleeping recommended in the South-West or the South?

Sleep is an activity of Saturn, and Saturn is a friend of Rahu-Ketu, who rule the South-West. The South is the seat of Yama, before whom no one prevails. Sun and Saturn are enemies, so sleeping in the East brings husband-wife quarrels; only a king-like person such as a politician or minister can sleep there. Applying this friend-enemy logic of the planets to every activity lets you derive remedies yourself.

Can plants be kept in the West, North-West and South-West?

Certainly. Drop the idea that there should be no greenery in the North-West or South-West; gardens and resorts everywhere have greenery on all sides. A vastu expert should never get a tree cut, because its dosh falls on him; plant auspicious trees near it instead.

A pomegranate tree stands in the South-West. What should be done?
Which planet is behind a South-South-West entrance?

If Rahu is bad, you will automatically get an SSW entrance. It has to be closed.

Rahu is in Mesh in the 10th house. Can I sleep in the South-West?
Does Rahu in the 8th house also rule out a South-West bedroom?

Check only debilitation, not the 8th house. Not every 8th-house placement is bad.

Can an inverter be kept in the South-West?
Does being manglik stop a person from sleeping in the South-West?

Manglik has nothing to do with it. It is considered only at marriage matching, when Mars sits in the 1st, 4th, 7th or 12th house, and Mars is power, not inauspicious. For the SW check whether Rahu-Ketu are debilitated, and for the South whether Mars is bad.

The shape of the earth element was given as a square, so why is a rectangle advised in the South-West?
The bedroom falls in the South-South-West, a negative zone of the house, but its own zoning looks right. Which should be followed?

Zones are first taken from the total area of the house. After that, the room's own vastu is used for the interior inside it, such as where to keep water, a meter or other items in that room.

If the master bedroom is in the South-West, can ancestors' photos be put up in it?

No. Ancestors' photos should not be put inside the bedroom, even when the bedroom is in the South-West.

What are the specifications for building the South-West chabutra?

There are 24 types of chabutra and it cannot be explained in a short time; it will be taught completely and practically in the diploma.

All around the toilet seat (the W.C., including the flush), insert mercury, only 10 to 15 grams, in brass strips so the bacteria of the toilet cannot spread. This gives the best results in the South-West.

Why are the South-West walls made thick and the South-West kept high?

The South-West is the location of Rahu and Ketu, and the West belongs to Saturn. Thick, high walls keep the influence of Rahu-Ketu and Saturn from becoming excessive, which is why the South-West is never kept low.
